One of my favorite municipal parks in the heart of my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee features amazing old oak trees (and some magnolias!). The grand scale of these trees really resonates with me. And as I rehabilitated a couple of misbehaving feet this year, I spent a fair amount of time walking this park and admiring these trees set against gorgeous summer skies like this.
