Some people have favorite colors. Others have favorite flavors of ice cream. I have a favorite waterfall along Yellow Creek in western North Carolina.
I first discovered this spot during a beautiful spring afternoon. Its boulders and pattern of cascading water just "click" for me, and I really got lucky when I was able to return later in the year during a gorgeous fall afternoon and get these peak colors.
