My first love among the four seasons remains winter. I caught this moment during a February hike in central Pennsylvania's Shingletown Gap.
Whenever I choose a winter landscape subject, my goal is to share with you the colorful warmth of the subject because I think that winter sometimes gets a bad rap as, "That dead season." I see it as a time of renewal, and when the sun shines, subjects like this interior woodland sing with all sorts of color and vibrancy.
