My favorite time of day in any city is the balanced edge between afternoon light and nighttime darkness. Throw in some rainy day reflections on top of this timing, and kaboom! you have a subject worthy of a painting.
I caught this moment in Lower Manhattan during a rainy summer evening. The sultry asphalt and long reflections caught my eye, but I also liked the tree-lined corridor for how it framed this moment so perfectly.
